Criteria on inviting celebrity/personality into MMU Campus for student activities

Those clubs/societies who wish to invite celebrities (singers, actors/actress, comedians, deejays and other personalities; they have to submit written application to the Director of Student Affairs and Sports Division for approval. Any application must be made 1 month before the programme.

 In the letter the student should state the rational to have such invitation as well as the objective(s). The roles of the celebrity/personality in the event are also to be mentioned.

 The details of the celebrity/personality should be attached together with the application letter. Attachments of the celebrity/personality photos are strongly recommended.

Before submitting the application, student must look into these criteria:

1.      The celebrity/personality must be known for his/her decency in terms of appearance attitude and background.

2.      The celebrity/personality must not have been convicted of any illegal act against Malaysia Law.
    For example drug, alcoholic, sexual harassment etc.

3.      Their performances should not touch any sensitivity in terms of religious, racist and politic.
